About Hektechnologies

I sell and support two pieces of software: Cloudbrink, and Veraify powered by Cloudbrink. That’s the whole catalogue.

Both come from the same vendor, and I’m an authorized reseller. What you get from me that you don’t get from buying direct is that I set it up on your machines and I answer the phone when it misbehaves.

Who I am

Spencer Heckathorn. I’ve spent my career on the support side of other people’s networks, including a stretch where my job was being the IT guy for IT guys. That taught me mostly what doesn’t survive contact with a real network.

Hektechnologies is where I sell the tools I already use with my own clients. I don’t sell anything I haven’t run somewhere that mattered.

What I actually do

Cloudbrink replaces a VPN and repairs the connection underneath it. If your people work from cellular, Starlink, or a rural line, and someone is complaining that remote desktop is unusable, that’s the problem it solves. I watched it turn an unusable connection into an ordinary workday at an accounting office outside Tulsa this year.

Veraify powered by Cloudbrink is the AI side. It finds which AI tools and agents are running in your business, then controls what data is allowed to reach them. Most companies I talk to can’t name the AI their staff use. That’s the gap it closes.

How buying works

You get twenty minutes with me first. I’ll tell you honestly whether this fixes your problem, and if it doesn’t, I’ll say so on the call rather than sell you a pilot that goes nowhere.

If it does, I trial it on the machines that actually hurt, then invoice you per user. Setup is white-glove at the start, usually inside a day.
